Public Engagement and Media Work

Dr Sarita Robinson is an experienced public speaker.

Sarita has given many public engagement talks.

In the past year the highlights have included Bushcraft Show, Lancashire Science Festival and Lancashire Science Festival Lates , Port Eliot Festival, NerdNite at the Barbican and The Cumbria Infinity Festival.

She has appeared on both local and national radio, including extolling the benefits of using tampons in firelighting on Radio 4’s Woman’s hour. Sarita also appeared by the Channel 5 documentary – The Great Fire: In Real Time discussing human behaviour during fire emergencies.
