Public Engagement

Sarita is an experienced public speaker. She has given talks at many festivals over the years including the Bushcraft Show, Lancashire Science Festival, Port Eliot Festival, NerdNite at the Barbican and The Cumbria Infinity Festival.

Sarita has even had a go at stand-up comedy appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe! You can watch it on YouTube – Click here).

Sarita is a big science fiction fan. She loved Dr Who, Buffy and all things Marvel. Sarita has combined her love of psychology and science fiction in some exciting projects.

Sarita was also excited to have a couple of chapters published in Doctor Who Psychology: Times Change (available on Amazon). Sarita has contributed a chapter to the book – ‘Westworld Psychology:Violent Delights’ – (available on Amazon, edited by Travis Langley, published in 2018) on the psycholgy of the Westworld TV show.
