Sarita is a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist (Teaching and Research) and has over twenty years experience working in Higher Education in the UK. She has been a senior leader successfully managing Psychology and Neuroscience degree courses at the University of Lancashire. Sarita also has a PhD in the psychobiology of survival and has undertaken many research projects looking at performance under pressure and the wider impact of disasters on individuals/communities.

Media campaigns, TV Show and Script Consultancy
Sarita has provided expert feedback on scripts for TV shows such as National Geographic – Pompeii:Out of Time and the BBC – Silent Witness. Higher Education Pedagogy
Using Google Sprint Methodology for Course Design:This training introduces university lecturers to Google’s Sprint methodology as a powerful tool for designing or revising degree/CPD courses. Participants will learn how to rapidly develop courses, while ensuring quality processes and stakeholder engagement are retained.
How to write a memorable lecture: This practical training course helps university lecturers design and deliver lectures that capture attention, enhance engagement and promote lasting learning. Participants will explore evidence-informed techniques for structuring content, using storytelling, encouraging interaction that students will remember.
Supporting Transgender students: HE workers will leave equipped with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to create an inclusive learning environment that supports transgender and gender-diverse students. Participants will explore key terminology, common challenges and inclusive teaching practices.
